Born in Brussels, Michele Bloch-Stuckens has been involved with precious stones before changing her career to photography in 2000. After studying art in Geneva and graduating from the GIA in Los Angeles, she spent many years in the US, working, among others, with Cartier on Fifth Ave.
From diamonds to photography the transition was a natural one. Striked by the images of William Klein, Helmut Newton or Guy Bourdin, Michele decided to give up the rubies, returned to Geneva and took up photography as a Professional. She stayed there for a few years, rapidly working with fashion magazines, advertising agencies and young designers. She has now relocated to Paris collaborating with prestigious names such as Van cleef & Arpels, Leonard watches and the SIHH of the Richemont group.
