Boo George was born in 1981 in County Wicklow, Ireland. Beginning as an assistant to photographers Julian Broad, Phil Poynter and Bruce Weber, Boo has gone to great lengths to achieve his documentary-influenced fashion imagery. His degree show project saw him spend nine days on a North Sea fishing trawler. Boo shot his first fashion story for i-D with i-D Fashion Editor Caroline Newell in 2010 and contributes to a number of magazines including Love, L’Uomo Vogue, British Vogue, Arena Homme Plus, and V. His commercial clients include Giles Deacon, Roksanda Illincic, Pringle, Barneys, Clarks, Louis Vuitton and Ungaro.
