Alex Cayley began his career in London, then moved full time to New York in 1999. He first came to prominence in the late 90s following his series of stories shot for the critically acclaimed but now-defunct Dutch magazine. His striking and provocative images soon gave him a very original identity in fashion photography, as they combined strong composition and impeccable photographic technique. His easy affability made him a favorite among his clients, and he quickly built up a very impressive roster of international magazines and advertising clients. Alex’ editorial clients include Italian VOGUE, L’Uomo Vogue, Numero, Harper’s Bazaar, GQ, Vogue Hommes International, Details, and Numero Tokyo. He has signed advertising campaigns for Yves Saint Laurent, Strenesse, Alessandro Dell’Acqua, Christian Lacroix, Gieves & Hawkes, Kenneth Cole, Emmanuel Ungaro, Cacharel Anais Anais, Bergdorf Goodman, and Neiman Marcus, to name a few.
