Catherine Ledner, a New Orleans native, began her career with a film degree from NYU. After moving west and graduating from Art Center in 1994, Catherine began shooting for a wide variety of clients, photographing everything from cats to kids, celebrities to orangutans. She currently resides in the foothills of Los Angeles with a menagerie of pets: dogs, cats, and bunnies. Always the avid adventurer, Catherine loves to travel the globe taking captivating images to add to her extensive photography library.
Catherine’s awards for her work include Communication Arts Photo Annual (2000, ’01, ’03), 2002 Applied Arts Awards annual for her corporate and advertising photography, 2003 Art Directors Club award for American Photography 18, 2005 Pacific Design Center "Stars of Design in the field of Photography", 2007 Design Annual,2008 Photo District News Annual (NY Times Magazine), the 2009 Graphis Photo Annual Gold award for her animal series, and the 2010 American Photography 26. Catherine is a published author with two books, "Animal House" and "Glamour Dogs."
